I would have lived a life of peace if I were silent, but I find no peace in submitting to the judgment of others. I am resilient because I have carried myself through racism and global hate with inexhaustible trust in my identity. I worked to create a space for myself in the community and to serve as a leader. I found comfort through leading clubs and becoming a prominent aspect of sports teams. place myself in unlikely areas I have become the person I needed as a young oddity. I built myself to thrives in uncomfortable circumstances. I proudly depict my culture without fear. Not only do I persevere for myself, but for all marginalized communities by embracing learning.
