Dunottar Castle was planned to travel from London on September 16th via Suez to Ceylon, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Burma to arrive at Calcutta on the morning of 2nd December, leaving after the Durbar on the evening of 25th. The first four pages of text are devoted to a discussion of the 1903 and 1911 Durbars. The cover os clearly based on the elephant processions of 1903.
