At0, 28cm, plus 36 steel engraved view plates including hand colour fronts view 7 some portraits, engraved title page with large vignette, in contemporary quarter black brown calf, full gilt titles and pictorial decoration on the spine, original decorated light green cloth boards, all edges gilt, coated yellow endpapers. Some foxing throughout mainly in the margins, one section jumped, very good The fourth volume of the "Drawing Room Scrap Book", the first with music (by Henry Russell). Significantly, the The frontispiece is by David Roberts and entitled "Hindoo and Mohammedan Buildings", engraved and printed in colour by Baxter. The lithographic plates include views of India, Corfu, Manchester, Cornwall, Durham Cathedral, and portraits (Jane Porter, Olinthus Gregory,

King George the Fourth, David Wilkie, Anna Marie Porter, Raphael Sanzio, Sir James Mackintosh). The preface and poetry was by English poet. Letitia Elizabeth Landon (1802-1838) who wrote under initials L.EL. The Scrap Book (a Victorian "gift yearbook") was published from 1832 to 1839. (38958 Ho3.3).
