Handbooks For The Indian Army Hindustan Musalmans And Musalmans Of The Eastern Punjab by Bourne W. Fitz G. Publication date 1914 "Handbooks for the Indian Army Punjabi Musalmans," was created specifically for aiding recruitment among the Punjabi Muslim population for the Indian Army. The second edition of the book was published in a quarter cloth binding with the original paper boards. The handbook contains a wealth of information, including a history of the Punjab region and of Islam, descriptions of customs and ceremonies of Punjabi Muslims, and recruiting notes. It was designed to provide information to the Indian Army recruiters when they were recruiting new members from this particular region.
