Jacket From 2nd Punjab Regiment

A Major’s mess dress jacket from 2nd Punjab Regiment (1923-1947) acquired from London, England. The scarlet jacket has dark green facings (which look darker in the picture) and a quilted scarlet lining. The regimental badge of a golden galley is seen here in silver and gold wire bullion. The small gilt and red velvet rank badge crowns can be seen here as well. The epaulettes do not have a button but are stitched beneath the collar.
