Maharajah Ranjit Singh, Sher-e-Panjab, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Kangra, Peshawar, Multan, Hazara, Emperor of Jamrud, 1799-1839 Maharajah Ranjit Singh (13 November 1780 – 27 June 1839), also known as "Sher-e-Punjab" ("Lion of Punjab"), conquered his 11 Sikh kingdoms of Punjab After that, he became the first Sikh emperor.
