PARKH, an illustrious research journal dedicated to Punjabi language and literature. This esteemed publication had its humble beginnings in 1964 with the release of Bulletin No. 1, under the editorship of Professor Surinder Singh Kohli, Chairperson of the School of Punjabi Studies at PU. This milestone marked the birth of PARKH: A Research Bulletin in Punjabi Language and Literature, setting the stage for a profound impact on Punjabi literature. As years passed, PARKH evolved and expanded its horizons, eventually transforming into PARKH: A Research Journal of Punjabi. Within its pages, scholars and enthusiasts delve into the vast realm of Panjabi language and literature, aided by the cherished volumes like Vol. I & II, published in 1986. Guided by the skilled editorship of Kartar Singh Suri, PARKH curated captivating content that delved deep into Panjabi culture, history, poetry, and prose.

We proudly house the significant 1974 volume 2 of the research bulletin on Panjabi language and literature. This edition, expertly guided by Dr. S. S. Kohli, a respected figure in the field, offers valuable insights and analysis. Dr. S. S. Kohli's contribution as the Professor and Head of the Department of Panjabi at Panjab University, Chandigarh, has immensely advanced the field of Panjabi language and literature.
