Mandi and Suket State, 1904 Publisher : Lahore: The "Civil and military Gazette" Press Date of publication : 1908 Suket State and Mandi State were princely states in Punjab during British Raj. Suket's capital was Pangna, and its last ruler joined the Indian Union in 1948. It is now part of Himachal Pradesh. Mandi State, with Mandi as its capital, was located in the Himalayan range and bordered Kangra, Suket, and Bilaspur. In 1941, Mandi State had a population of 232,598 and covered an area of 1,139 square kilometers.
