Rana Surat Singh

Rana Surat Singh by Bhai Vir Singh Author : Bhai Vir Singh was a Sikh poet, scholar, and theologian who played a significant role in the revival of the Punjabi literary tradition. He was born in 1872 in Amritsar, and was the eldest son of Dr. Charan Singh. His family had a long ancestry, tracing its roots back to Diwan Kaura Mal, a vice-governor of the city of Multan. Bhai Vir Singh's grandfather, Kahn Singh, was also fluent in Sanskrit and Braj and had a deep knowledge of traditional Oriental systems of medicine. Bhai Vir Singh was married at the age of 17 to Chatar Kaur, and had two daughters with her. He is remembered for his contributions to the Sikh Panth. He passed away in Amritsar on June 10, 1957. Book : It is a long poem written in blank verse by Bhai Vir Singh, published in 1905. Raj Kaur is heartbroken and spends the rest of her life grieving and worshipping his memory. One day, she has a spiritual experience in which she feels as if she leaves her body and travels to the spiritual realm, where she sees various planes of existence, including the Realm of Knowledge, the Realm of Aesthetic Beauty, and the Realm of Grace. Eventually, she is shown the ultimate domain, the Realm Eternal, but is not able to enter it. When she returns to her body, she is able to find some solace in her grief and is able to perform her duties as ruler.
