It tells how such a strong kingdom of 14,500 square miles, which had endless goods and innumerable patriotic warriors, became a slave in a matter of days. ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਗਿਆ । ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ 14500 ਮੁਰੱਬਾ ਮੀਲ ਦੀ ਏਨੀ ਤਕੜੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸਾਮਾਨ-ਜੰਗ ਤੇ ਬੇਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਮਰ ਮਿਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼-ਭਗਤ ਯੋਧੇ ਹੋਣ, ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਹੋ ਗਈ ।
