Folding black and white map, dissected, linen backed, on a scale of 1 mile to 1 inch, 35 x 24ins unfolded, folding down to a size of 12 x 8ins with cloth endpapers retaining printed label. Minor damage along linen folds and 6 pin hole sized worm holes to map. The extreme south eastern corner of the map shows a small area of Nepal. The actual survey was carried out 1872-5 by Lieut. J. Hill, Captain H. R. Thuillier, and E. C. Ryall
